Forums >General Running>Re-starting Running again.
Greetings everyone,
I had bursitis and the last 3 months I stopped running. I began physical Therapy and began running. Per instructions from the PT he said run 10 minutes. I was running an hour weekends and 30-45 minutes 3X during the week. I appreciate any Feedback and suggestions.
an amazing likeness
Brisk walking is a great build-up for return to running. It will help you build time on your feet while keeping impact loads low as you heal. Wrap walking around the 10min jogs your PT is prescribing. Over time as you make gains, you can slowly transition to more jogging.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Work with time, don't get yourself injured more by overworking yourself. Keep your loads low to help with your recovery.
