    hello guys i was just wonderin is there an exersive that concentrates on the lower abdomen ie under the belly button and well over the belly button too??
      Reverse Crunches. I just started doing them and they're great. Here's a little workout plan I found online. Do it five time without rest between: 1) Pushups 10 2) Crunches 10 3) Wide pushups 10 4) Reverse Crunches 10 5) Triceps pushups 10 6) Left/Right crunches 10/10 You'll feel it the next day.               googled: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilates http://kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/exercise/pilates.html My summary (FWIW) -- pilates are a bunch of balance exercises like yoga -- but tire you out so I guess they have more muscle component. They involve some movement repetitions which are clearly muscle work.

              It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

                Pilates is the ONLY thing I've ever found to consistently target my lower abs without hurting my back. That said, I like Mike's workout, might have to try that tonight.
