Barefoot and happy

Last year I stayed in Hopkinton because I wanted to be close to the start and not have to get up so early. This part worked out really well but I did find it hard to get around out there.
Yup, if you want to enjoy the city during your visit you'll have a much easier time if you stay in Boston or Cambridge. Everything is fairly close together and the public transportation is decent. Trying to drive in and out from Hopkinton can be hellish, particularly if you're not familiar with the roads and our "aggressive" driving style. That's why the hotels are so much cheaper out there. As for the weather, that's New England for you. Last year everyone got an authentic experience, even if it wasn't the experience they imagined. Smile
