Anyone know if there are water fountains along the trail/path system? Kmays and I will be there this weekend and starting a run from town- about 10-12 miles. Thanks!

There are some fountains on the B Line system. The Indiana Running Company has a store on the College St side of the downtown square. Check in there to get some routes. There are also many good trails in the area.

It's summer so the friction between the townies and the cutters should be minimal - you should be safe out on the trails.
If the Cinzano team is around, there might be some congestion though.
LOL. I'm excited. Back when I went to IU there was no such thing as a trail system, and very few runners! We were all about Little 500 and Bobby Knight!

Absolutely, that's how I was raised. If you're not set on trails, I've attached a 10.5 miler I did around town. Could easily be modified to make sure you loop past some parks/areas with water fountains. I know trails have an advantage on navigation, but I don't think I'll ever need a map of Bloomington, and as much as it would have been cool to see the trails, I was also very eager to see the changes around town. (Sare Rd, WTH???)
