In the U.S. marathon time trials today Amy Cragg was carrying a bottle of water, then handed it to Shalene Flanagan. Shalene poured some of the water on herself then drank some. Is that legal in the time trials?
Yes, she got the water bottle from an official fluid station for the race. Earlier in the men's race they showed that Meb passes a bottle to other runners in the race also.
You can take aid from other competitors. You cannot take aid from other than official aid stations.
