Hi! I've been sick for the last few days, and I can't run. I also don't exercise, and I feel like I have no motivation at all. How are you dealing with this?

Usually when I lack motivation I exercise and feel better.

Many of us aren't sure what the hell point you are trying to make and no matter how we guess, it always seems to be something else. Which usually means a person is doing it on purpose.

If you are sick, then give yourself time to get better. If you are having trouble getting back to exercise after being sick, either start by walking or a short run like a mile or two. Were you exercising before?

Tru dat. Getting started is more than half the battle.

How do I deal with inability to run when I can't? I justify it by calling it "recovery" or "reset" from injury or illness. I envision the inactivity is just preparation for future activity.
