Garmin 205/Rain (Read 147 times)

How do you protect your Garmin if it's not water proof? I went out today in the rain with a sandwich bag over it, will this help or cause more harm?

Hi Hog - just noticed this question. I put it on so the face is on the underside of my wrist instead of the outside - so it is facing the ground as you run. This keeps the rain from directly pouring down on top of it. The alternative is to wear it the regular way and pull some bit of clothing (jacket sleeve, shirt sleeve, mitten, wrist warmer) over it until I need to look at it. I don't usually do the type of structured running that might require looking at it often; so this works for me.

Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done.

Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.
