Fighting senescence
This is no big deal, however, I notice quite a few posters who have text on the image that shows up on their posts. However, I can't manipulate these images in any way, so I don't know what any of the text SAYS. Is there a trick I'm missing, or do I just have to resort to asking each one, individually, what their image says? Not sure I care that much, but, because I see there is text, y'know, it makes me curious!

There's no provision for you to access the image uploaded by another user for their avatar. The pic is a property of that user's profile and only viewable to you as the avatar.
