New shoe for the rotation purchased but.................?uestions (Read 86 times)

Hey all,

Hope everyone is well and the start to Summer has been good thus far. I just got a pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire 9's from Amazon for $53.00. I loved my Inspire 8's last year and am hopeful the 9's are equally as good. However I do have a few questions if anyone out there has worn the 9's.

•  The upper toe box material on the 9 is a very open mesh. The 8's had an open mesh as well but with a backing, and a sewn in toe reinforcement as well. Is the mesh on the 9's as durable as the 8's?
• Does the Inspire 9 run big? I seem to have about a thumbnail worth of room between the end of my big toe and the end of the shoe. Is this common as my Inspire 8's have about 3/4 of a thumbnail worth of room.
• How does the shoe wear as compared to other shoes in its category? I have read anywhere between 350 to 600 miles.

If anyone can answer these questions it would be most appreciated. Thank you as always.
