I remember the Casio Calculator watch. Late 80's was it not? That was one cool dude in the class that had it. Sort of....

^ Big deal. How many of you ever had a watch with an *actual calendar* on it? (I mean, before the Watch.) This was a prized possession of mine in high school.

+1 - I am guessing that if and when this ever really catches on, that a newer version won't require your phone and will essentially replace your phone. But for now, as you indicated the smartphone replaced watches a long time ago, so why launch a watch that requires a smartphone? I predict a very low take-up on this. I wouldn't mind being wrong - but I just don't get it (in its current incarnation).
