On hot and humid long runs, just remember this: nipple band aids

I have been happy using this:  www.drygoods.com  Trick is to spray in bursts, not continuous, and to hold it fairly far away from the skin.  Otherwise I have found it goes on wet.  Best product I have tried.

Yeah, well...sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Chafing took out a number of strong runners at Spartathlon last year. It was my biggest issue as well. Eventually I started carrying the BodyGlide with me and reapplying often, but it wasn't enough. Normally BodyGlide before the race is all I need, for any distance. I did try 2Toms at Desert Solstice 24-hour, and had no problem. I may use that at Spartathlon this year. But lately I have also been hearing good things about Squirrel's Nut Butter. It was a freebie at Desert Solstice, and some of the runners used it and said it was great. I may try that too. Problem is, if BodyGlide is normally fine, it's hard to evaluate what's better under conditions that arise infrequently.
