What makes a topic inappropriate? (Read 154 times)

I noticed several posts today that were censored and marked Inappropriate. I checked around a bit but couldn't find anything describing what topics would be included? Where can I find that or can something be added in an obvious place that describes what is not acceptable? I'm more curious than being concerned that one of my posts would be censored. Part of what prompted this is seeing two posts by the same user with the same timestamp in two different forums, one censored and the other not.

Yeah, I thought that one was iffy too. Eric and the moderators do a great job of keeping out the junk without over-policing. Sometimes individuals are given a little leeway if it's specifically running related.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

His post at the same time in Running 101 was censored. I was wondering what that contained and why this one wasn't.

It was simply that the two posts were duplicates. Leaving one was a judgement call per the leeway noted above .
