Does anyone know the cost of Chronotrack System, Mylaps, or IPICO? (Read 72 times)

I am interested in timing running races which range from 100-5000 participants. We have not had any higher participants than 2500 as of yet, but plan to in the future. I do not want to use 3rd party timing companies, so I would like to find information about the cost of a few different timing systems. The future races will be non-profit for a local children's charity.

I recently checked into purchasing a system from InnovativeTimingSystems.

Depending on the level of redundancy, the number of participants the system suppports, and the width of the start/finish areas, a system can cost you between $6k and $14K.  It's a beautiful system, and I'd consider if I wanted to get into this business for a second job, or small-paying hobby.

of course, there's still the cost for each bib that occurs with every race and runner, but that's passed on to the participant (normally).

From what I can tell Agree Race Timing is only software. It doesn't seem as if the HW for chip timing is part of their solution. You need to get that from somewhere elese.

A simple email to each organization's sales team will get you an exact quote for everything you need.

It is to difficult to give you an exact quote for your needs based on the little information you gave.  Send a quick email to each timing company you are interested in looking at and they will get back to you.

If you are asking which timing system we like and why, that is a different question.
