GPS Upload: second garmin (Read 110 times)

So, my LRS swapped out my old Garmin 610 for a brand new 610 -- no questions asked.  Now, the Ant plugin identifies the new plugin as 610-000 (which I find funny, since it implies that if you own more than one 610, you're likely to own over 100 of them).

However, on the RA GPS upload screen I now have a drop-down.  By default it selects "610" not "610-000".  Since I no longer own the original 610, is there a way to adjust the drop-down so the default is "610-000"?

Removing the old "610" would also work for me, but I imagine there might be users who bought a new device and still have the old one around as a backup.

I couldn't figure out how to change the default device on mine and since I no longer had my old 610(black one I sold to buy a white one), I ended up deleting the original 610 device from my source list(once I figured out my new one was the -000). Why they list it this way, say as opposed to an actual number following the 610- is beyond me. I would assume that some families have multiple watches linked to a computer, heck some even having the same watch(my hubby would love a 610 except he doesn't even run, he just thinks it's cool!)

So I would think knowing mine was #1 and his was #2 would be more preferable than a 610 and then a 610-000

      eric :)

When you go to the import page, the importer queries the Communicator plugin for attached devices.  You can see this by clicking on the little black triangle to display the trace.  The Ant Agent reports there are two devices attached so the importer displays the GPS list.  Since you no longer have one of the GPSes, once you unpair it from the Ant Agent, then the problem would be resolved.  There's nothing the importer can do since it only displays what is reported by the Communicator plugin.

610-000 would likely be followed by 610-001, 610-002, 610-003 etc.

Software guys just like to count starting at Zero.

Thanks, Eric.  I'll give that a try when I get home.
