Anybody else run the St. Patrick's Day 8K in DC? (Read 363 times)

Hey, nice marmot!

If so, how did your chip time compare with your "personal time"? In races, I always run with my own stopwatch and start/stop it when I cross the start/finish lines, just for some independent confirmation of my chip time. In the past, my stopwatch has never varied much more than a few seconds from the chip time, but at this race, my official chip time was almost 90 seconds slower than the time I took myself! Did this happen to anyone else, or I am simply not as fast as I think I am?

Hey Ben, I ran it. I noticed that originally they posted the results without chip times, but later they updated the results and added them. It looks like you are listed with a 40 flat now. Good run!

      Hey, nice marmot!

Huh, I guess they did. That's strange. I wonder why they didn't wait and post clock and chip times together. Oh well. Thanks Sean.
