Looking for Jogging Stroller comments (Read 1066 times)

My wife and I are expecting our second child, we both are runners and we currently have a hand-me down jogging stroller for our first child, which will be 4 just a few weeks after our second it born. Since our first is quite a bit older than our first I don't think it makes sense to get a double stroller, but any comments? We are looking at either the Bob Ironman or the Baby Jogger F.I.T. We were looking at the Bob Revolution and Baby Jogger Summit XC, but I don't think the non-fixed wheel will be the best for running. Does anyone have any experience running with any of these model of strollers we're looking at?

      The process is the goal.

I read that thread already, I'm looking for people's experiences with the models mentioned. Thus, not the same.

The BOB Ironman is essentially the Sport Utility with lighter spoked wheels, slicker tires, and a different color so what I said over on the other thread about our BOB applies. Based on nothing more than using a BOB and a different model Baby Jogger, I'm guessing the FIT will be slightly more efficient/faster if that's your thing. Most likely the quality is similar so between the two you would really have to go with which ever had the features you wanted most and I doubt you would be unhappy with either.

I see a lot of serious-looking runners with the Bob Ironman.  We have the Bob Revolution and have been very happy with it.  You can lock the front wheel so that it doesn't turn.  You do have to adjust it so that it goes straight, though (there's a small knob on the front of the stroller).  I run my daughter about 2 miles to daycare every day, and I have no complaints.  Recently, I even did a tempo run while pushing the stroller, and I felt like I only lost 10-15 sec/mile.
