running metalhead
And in 1:38:35!!!
LOL. Well, it was a cross-country marathon and due to heavy rain and extremely bad condition in the woods (falling branches and acorns, ankle deep mud, etc.) the organization decided to cancel it for safeties sake.
But funnily enough the organization hasn't put any notes on the results site: http://www.bosmarathon.eu/uitslagen.htm
so that more an eventual visitor will be amazed by the times a bunch of Dutchies can do in a Marathon.. .and surely wondering why none of us ever won anything in the Olimpic games XD
Well, amazing run, anyway (or should I say swim?).
I am now totally gung-ho with switching to trail and cross-country and almost totally ditch big massive and overpriced road events.
the only issue is that I have still 2 races left (10K road and 9K cross) and my training plan was counting with a couple of weeks of lower mileage and intensity leaving me in the need to adapt it...
Awesome

Your Garmin is wrong, the course was correct.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
I thought the wooden shoes slowed you down. Congratulations on your run!
Flamer?
It was a Timex this time. And the GPS wasn't working :PSeems that the satellite signals got blocked by our famous mountains XD
