What I did was ...
On the training log summary page, click on "customize"
Add an activity graph
Click on the "create" button on that new graph
Choose date for the x axis and weight for the y axis, and check the "relative scale" box
"Not to touch the Earth, not to see the Sun, nothing left to do but run, run, run..."
Graphing is probably easier, as the graph will just pick up the weight entered for each workout. If you want specific weigh ins each week then you can record the weight as an "Health Note Entry" and this should also be picked up by the graph. You can also have the last entered weight automatically picked up when you add a new workout. This is how I've got my weight graph configured.
If you want a report then I think you need the new activity as you've already added. Go into the report area, then new search and select your "Weigh In" activity and appropriate ranges.
