RunningAHEAD - Topic: Addition to Groups Main Page

On the groups main page it shows the groups that I am in as well as the 5 (or so) most recent groups formed. Would it be possible to also add a section (there seems to be a great deal of white space on the right) that might show 5 or so random groups? I just noticed that on the group I had formed that more people joined when it was on that main page, rather than from fishing through the list. This would give everyone's group a chance to be seen up front again and possibly get more members. Thanks Jeff

That's a neat idea. Kind of like how we have random quotes on the home page from people's profiles about why they run... Of course, it'd be pointless to include the private groups...

True, I hadnt really thought of that - probably because the groups I am in are not private.

I'll have to think of a better way to promote the sites after I'm done with the log upgrades. I still think that advertising them in your signature is the way to go. eric :-)
