Dain.
Trent,
When I expressed these concerns to my doctor (it was the ER doctor who prescribed the Cipro) she told me I could switch from Cipro to another anti-biotic and prescribed Bactrim. I have not filled the prescription yet. This was yesterday. Four days into the Cipro, would you recommend the switch?
She did advise that I continue taking an anti-biotic either way since the stone could have caused infection. I hate to be so focused on the running, but it really does matter to me.
Thanks again...Tom
Yeah, well...sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

I am not your doctor. However, for most urinary infections, the two can be interchangeable.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
