Your 5K race this weekend is the best predictor of your 10K result. Based on your running volume and racing experience, you can probably expect to finish in the 1:07:00 - 1:10:00 range. Suggest going out no faster than 11:00ish first couple of miles. Good Luck! Enjoy it.
Thanks. Yes I put my time in a race predictor and one said 1:05. It is what it is and ill try my best to beat this in a safe way. Otherwise, that’s just me right now I guess.
i will be adding incline to my treadmill work out and try to push a bit more...we’ll see if it makes a difference.
