You post an appealing dating profile, Anne.
Guys dig Terry Gross.
not bad for mile 25
BTW, I like pre-dawn runs in the rain, a la this morning's.
an amazing likeness
Nothing like a bib number and four safety pins to get the blood pumping.
You're doing it wrong. The pins are only supposed to go through the bib and the shirt. No skin.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
That could be the solution on the "Chest pain while running" thread.
The luminous blue that the sky is just before the sun comes up. The black silhouettes of trees. Early morning birds passing overhead. Snow with no footprints in it except mine yet. Raindrops hanging from the brim of my hat and the kind of secret, private feeling of running in the rain. I've been way slower and way fatter than I want to be for the last 2 years or so but these are the things that keep me coming back and working towards something better.
