That's wild. There were quite a few late 19th/early 20th century terminals built in that style, but still uncanny.
not bad for mile 25
That said, the station and your photo of it, is practically on a par with the Taj Mahal. It was a great era when design mattered.
From the Berkeley Marina looking towards the Golden Gate Bridge. First pic was at the end of the run. I thought that was a rather nice sunset. Then I went inside and looked out the restaurant window 10 minutes later... BOOM.

... BOOM.
Thank you for snapping that second one :-)
From today's run, 17 degrees but mostly sunny/ Passed this farm, even the horse is covered up from the cold!
"My dear, here we must run as fast as we can, just to stay in place. And if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that.”
From my 8 mile run today, the suns rays shining through breaks in the cloud cover onto the field of snow.
View from the 'hood last week.
an amazing likeness
Spring has sprung...
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Here is a photo I took when doing a cross training bike ride yesterday. Finally, the landscape has become green in Northwestern New York!
And here in Northern California, we are just about to lose our green and go back to golden brown.
