This is probably answered somewhere, but I haven't found it.
I mistakenly retired a shoe in current use instead of a one with similar name and can't figure out whether there is a way to get it back in my list of shoes.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your equipment list. Scroll down to the bottom. Uncheck "hide retired equipment".
Voila!
Now that your list is repopulated with everything, find the doodad you accidentally retired... edit it. (I go to the "actions" dropdown on the right side of the entry and then click on the pencil) That will bring the doodad's info back up, and you can unretire it.
