Sore Muscles on Eve of HM (Read 441 times)

    So, tomorrow I am scheduled for my second HM and I believe I may have messed it all up this week. I played Dodgeball on Thursday for two hours (don't ask) and obviously used muscles that I haven't in a while. With that being said, my groin and quad muscles are ON FIRE. This is probably an easy question, but is is safe to take some sort of pain medicine before the Half? I was planning Aleve or Aspirin. Is there anything else I can do tonight to lower the soreness? Any help would be appreciated from this somewhat new runner.
