Finding some answers now that I'm at my computer and can easily pull up the owners manuals...looks like the 220 can be set to not timeout until 25 minutes, instead of the default, non-adjustable 5 minutes on my 210. One more reason to upgrade. This is also the case for the 620. I had been told that the Edge bike computers now automatically power-down after a few minutes of activity, but I'm happy to see that the 510 (I have the 500) can be set not to do that. Phew. I really didn't want to dump a ton of money into the 910XT for race days, when 95% of the time it's overkill and I really prefer to use separate computers for the run and bike...and the tri features are totally wasted on me (why swim when I can run 2x?!).
