Good luck! I would get in an easy 3 miler in before the race though either tomorrow or day before especially since you did not run Monday. That many days off and you lose your edge/sharpness and some blood volume!

Okay, got in a 3 miler this morning.

Felt great!  Really feel like the taper is working, I ran a 10:02 pace with an average heart rate of 143.

Lots of unspent energy right now.

Forecast is still showing mid 50's for the start and slight chance of rain.

      Age: 50 Weight: 224 Height: 6'3" (Goal weight 195)

      Current PR's:  Mara 3:14:36* (2017); HM 1:36:13 (2017); 10K 43:59 (2014); 5K 21:12 (2016)

      Am I doing this right?

Forecast is still showing mid 50's for the start and slight chance of rain.

That sounds like perfect running/racing weather to me.  Good luck!

        No excuses....

I did it!!! Unofficial 1:55:50 on my phone. Ran mile 13 in 7:43! Need to get checked out so no time to post all the details, but the weather was PERFECT!
