Asics GT's Ready to Go? (Read 386 times)

I am guessing these bad boys are done.  They are for overpronators and I am feeling slight pains below the inside of both ankles, which tells me that the main support I need from them is wearing/worn down.  Does this assessment make sense?

    an amazing likeness

The ASICS GT are a pretty mild stability shoe, they aren't really made for folks who need a lot of stability. My experience has been they wear out in the mid-foot first.

If you think the GT is too much stability for you, you might consider the Brooks Infinity 2, which is a nice firm shoe with just a bit of stability.  (I found the Brooks too narrow, compared with ASICS which fit me to a 't")

(My primary is the ASICS Nimbus; I use the ASICS GT for foul weather; and the Brooks Infinity for races and tempo work -- I'd struggle to call the GT a strong "stability" shoe...it is very mild amount of control over the neutral cushioning shoes.)

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
