Forums >Technical Support>Import log to Excel - can it be comma delimited
Anyone have pizza?
Hi Eric,
I just imported my log file which is huge but it seems almost impossible to parse this into the excel fields correctly. The widths are of different sizes, and it's not comma delimited making it impossible.
Is there a way to have a log export with commas in between each of the fields? With nearly 3000 line entries, this would be a great help.

Hi Alex,
Are you trying to import your data into RA, or export the data from RA? If you're exporting, you can open the file in Excel as a tab delimited file. Excel would be able to open it without problem. Please contact me directly if you need additional help.

I figured it out. It was something stupid I did in Excel after exporting the log to Excel. I'm a voice systems engineer. I freely admit this is what I would call as an ID 10 T error. LOL!! Thanks again!
