     After about 2 months of only breast stroke, my IT band started to flare up a bit. Since then I have made a consious effort to incorporate the freestyle and backstroke as at least 50% of the workout. My IT band pain has been very minimal.

     

    I alternated freestyle and breast stroke the other day during a workout. After a few laps of breast stroke I started to notice some tension on the outside of my left knee. I will be sticking with freestyle until we work on back stroke next week. 

     Goals: 1)Get my IT Band to cooperate 2) Run lots of trails. 3) Get my back to cooperate.
