    Day 11

    Thanks FSBD!

    I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have run even these few miles without this thread.

      Still in. Great 5 today in the sun with a nice chill in the air. Thanks for the quotes. They're great!

        Me too.  I did NOT feel like running today but somehow managed to jog 4 miles.

        Thanks FSBD!

          Day 12.  I'm glad this thread is helping to keep people on track.  Keep up the good work.

          Today's quote of the day;

          "Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion."

          We are the music makers,

              And we are the dreamers of dreams,

          Wandering by lone sea-breakers,

              And sitting by desolate streams;

          World-losers and world-forsakers,

              On whom the pale moon gleams:

          Yet we are the movers and shakers

              Of the world for ever, it seems.

            This is day 17 for me. The neighbors are starting to ask questions.

            not bad for mile 25

              My neighbors have known about me for a long time.

                That means you're doing it right.

                She laughs at me......

                  We just moved to the area in July. I told a few people that I run, but since I've been slacking off I don't think that they believed me.

                      Cruising along to day 13.

                      Quote of the day

                      "The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence."

                        My quote of the day is "Run streaks are much easier when you give yourself such low expectations."

                        I banged out 1.5 miles yesterday. I'm still in it.

                          There was a point in my life when I ran. Now, I just run.

                          We are always running for the thrill of it

                          Always pushing up the hill, searching for the thrill of it

                            Day 12. Mileage is depressingly low but I was battling a nasty cold for almost a week now. I refused to take my temperature because I was sure I had one and didn't want to know I did. Because then I would have had to cancel the relay race on Sunday and I didn't want to do that since I was the one who pestered my friends for over a year about it. I just took a paracetamol and ended up having the best of time with my girls and also the fastest time of us four.

                            I feel healthy today so I guess it's time to ramp up the mileage. I have some smaller local races lined up this month just for fun.

                            It's Tuesday every day

                              Wow - nice job!

                              Still in, though I had a knee-pain scare on Monday. Too much running party this most recent Thu-Sun. Fingers crossed that things are almost back to normal. (Can run... just have to be careful.)

                                My morning run didn't happen but I hit the treadmill at my office gym. Not a zero.
