    A long run is whatever is long for you. Based on your ability, your training goals, your training cycle. If you're training for a fast 5-k, 6 miles may be a long run. It's your log. Forget what Pete says. You know what long is.* * Yes, Scout and/or the other denizens of the 2000 swamp, I just tossed up an easy fat pitch. But I've already chuckled at all potential jokes. So at least be original.
