Thanks, cassie.  Once again, I'll try to find a Hoka style that fits my foot.

I've tried two others to no avail.

I haven't tried the Altra Olympus (yet). Not sure what isn't fitting correctly with the Hoka for you, but these might be an alternative.

Funny, last time that I checked the Altra Olympus the shoe fitter wasn't working.

Otherwise I would have ordered already.

Might go ahead and order it and compare to the Kailua which I just ordered.

My foot is short but quite wide for a woman.

mta: Oops, nope that wasn't it. The description doesn't say if the Olympus is straight or curved.

My fat foot can't do straight which was the problem with one of the Hokas.

In the end neither the Kailua or the newest Bondi B fit me.  Both are too narrow

            for my fat foot.

My Alta Olympus arrived this after noon.  They do fit much better than the Hokas.

Though not as well as my NB wt1010's which are truly foot shapedSmile

I've only run two miles in them so far but I think that they will serve their purpose (cushioning

for longer runs) even though I don't like the rockered toe.

Also, they may be a bit hot come summer.
