Ok I give up, how do I upload a photo to a post?

You link the URL to the photo with the landscape button at the top of the editor (the mountain with moon).

I get the same icon. My pics are on my phone, which is where I'm usually posing from. I've tried copying urls from Flickr, Google+, and FB, but can't get anywhere. Please help.

I used the 'view source' button when quoting you in this post, and I removed the extra characters at the end of your first photo link name. I also increased the size. Looks like you can link from flickr as long as you make sure the link to the picture is correct.
Helleborus?!
an amazing likeness
Wow! They (Flikr) have made this about as hard as could be! Here's the steps I found:
1. Open your photo in Flikr
2. Click on the "share" (curved arrow) in the tools, lower right of the picture display
3. This will open a sharing dialog box.
4. Select the size for your photo in the drop-down (use something reasonable like 800x600)
5. Click on BBCode
6. Copy the url between the [img] and [/img] tags in the link Flikr gives
7. Use that url here
and...
8. Drop Flikr, because that is really unreasonable.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Have you tried Tinypic? Pretty easy.
