Beginner high school runner needs help on 800-1600m (Read 76 times)


Old , Ugly and slow

    80 seconds for 400 is slow but it could mean you are just out of shape.

    for now you need to start running more than just 30 minutes a day.

    one day a week start adding time until you at least get up to an hour

    first race sept 1977 last race sept 2007

      Don't even worry about running anything short and fast more than once a week until March. Yes, I know, it seems like it won't help to run a lot of slow miles, but actually it helps a LOT.
