Mac keyboards (Read 735 times)

By the time I broke my iBook G4 (about 18 months after I bought it), almost every commonly used letter was worn off. My first MacBook is about 2 years old and the letters are still there (it's DH's computer now). My second is about 6 months old and is still fine as well. So I guess it might just depend on how you use it and such.

I got one of them IBM keyboards. It even has the IBM logo on it. People that have used one would know what I'm talking about. It clicks very distinctly but that's the beauty of it. You *know* when you've pressed a key. In the 10 years that I've had this baby, I've gone through more computers than I can remember but always the same keyboard. All the letterings are still perfect. Despite the fact that it doesn't have the Windows key, I will continue using it because it's the best keyboard in the world!

Sounds like it's the most commonly used letters. I always lose the e and it happens to be the most common letter in the English language.
