    But no more excuses.  I'm running today.  Starting short and slow, but accepting it and not trying to do too much and burn out.  Wish me luck!

      Good luck!  I came back in February after an almost 6 year hiatus!  I made the mistake of thinking that I should be as fast as I was six years ago, pushed myself a little too hard, and I'm now dealing with posterior shin splints.  Take it super slow, and have fun!

      Back in the saddle, after three years off...

      Goals- To stay healthy and uninjured...

          Good luck!!!!  You can do it!!!  Focus on the enjoyment of being outside, free from all your responsibilities, expanding your lungs and your horizons.

          Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done. 

          Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.

                  Just getting back. Was up to 4.5 mi earlier, but suffered some injuries and got away from it.
