I bought my nephew an elephant for his room. He said, "Thanks". I said, "Don't mention it".
Twenty One Pilots - Holding On To You
"God guides us on our journey, but careful with those feet." - David Lee Roth, of all people

"Mental toughness is built by doing something that is hard over and over again, especially when you don't feel like doing it. Our society has conditioned us to believe that there should be no discomfort, to stop when we are uncomfortable. But the discomfort we feel when we're doing a challenging workout is an important part of the strengthening process." -Jim Afremow, The Champion's Mind: How Great Athletes Think, Train, and Thrive
The late, great Doc Watson - anything of his that's uptempo. That said, I never listen to music while running. He tends to speed up my walks to work though.
day after day sameness
This came up today after a couple hours mowing the lawn, and it was perfect. Roots rock, Canadian excellence..
I've done my best to live the right way; I get up every morning and go to work each day...

clutch -- crucial velocity (perfect tempo hard rocker)
folly -- broken (NJ ska/punk/metal insanity; when all hell begins to break loose at 3:20, my pace drops to 3:20/mi)
Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus
This song caused me to turn a 3 mile easy run into a tempo. :-|
