Forums >Racing>Asia--Australia--Africa marathons remain
Consistently Slow
My target pace (13:00) is not easy at present. I am taking what body will give on any given day. I am gradually building my base from 75 % walking to 90% running without getting injured. I need to get the marathon down to a 6:00:00 finish. HM on 2/19/23 was 2:39:45. Race predictor gives a 5:38:00 finish. Concrete and I are not friends. I want to get the HM < 2:30:00. 72 days until FM in Asia, 78 days until Australia, and 85 days until NZ. Africa will be in October 2023.
Run until the trail runs out.
SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Wait, you are running 3 marathons in 13 days??? Am I reading this correctly? The traveling seems fun but the recovery between seems like a nightmare.

So how is it going? I see you’re doing 30 miles a week or less currently and have one 20 mile long run logged.
Many of us aren't sure what the hell point you are trying to make and no matter how we guess, it always seems to be something else. Which usually means a person is doing it on purpose.

What's Queensland going to be called after the coronation on Saturday?
It’s not named after the band?
