Running in Raleigh, NC (Read 22 times)

I'm going to be in Raleigh, NC with my wife next week. I'm looking for somewhere to run near the hilton garden inn (by rt 1 and I540). My wife is not a runner so I don't want the runs to take longer than they have to or to leave her stuck at the hotel (so no car for me). Can anyone recommend any place to run right near there? It looks like I can do my 2 mile recovery runs out and back on old wake forest road but I'd like to get in a 6 and a 12 miler over the weekend. I don't mind sidewalks (nor do my legs). Thanks!
