not bad for mile 25

Mine just end up wherever.  One's on a hook in my cube at  work; another hangs over a floor lamp at home; others, who knows?

Here is the one that I am most proud of and this is what my wife did for me

OK you win the talented wife award!

Last week I moved mine from where they were pinned to a bulletin board above the home computer to a rack/shelf I made.

(trying to figure out how to load pictures from flickr...)

No idea how to show the picture, but...

The top two are the shadow boxes from my main race for the year, my "A" race.

The other ones from our family (including race bibs, medals, and swim ribbons for the kiddo) are reserved for garage decoration.

My daughter pulled these out of my sock drawer and put this together for me.  She's a good kid.

It's on my "let's talk about me" wall.

Jeez, I was there for pretty much all the races I see in the right box 'cept Boston.  Same years as far as I can tell.

                I still hide them.

                How about now?

                Not at it at all.

                Good Bad & The Monkey

So you may not know this but about a year and a half ago, Gd smote my house with a barage of rocks, roots, trees and mud.  The smiting had its greatest impact on my kiddos' rooms.  So now, rebuilt and back home, those rooms are no longer for the kids. One of them is my new mancave, kinda.  Really, it is just a fancy storage room where I can put all the stuff I have that nobody else wants to see.  So in the basement, in that room, in a closet, hidden behind my out of season clothes, there are my medals.

So yeah.  Still now.  Hidden even better.

                  True story.

Brian, you've done the hard part by uploading your pictures to Flickr (another option is tinypic.com).  Now, while your cursor's at the right place in your post, click the tree icon Tree Icon and paste the url into the field that pops up.  Text in the description field is optional.  (Some other editors have a mountain icon instead of a tree.)

Went with something from Allied Metal Displays, http://www.medalhangers.com/imgs/products/thumbs/Always_Earned_Never_Given_26.jpg

I think we met briefly right after CIM.  I was with Hup (Henry).

I just wear my medal around. All the time. Everywhere. Day and night.

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

I like to wear them in races. It intimidates my opponents. I look like Mr. T's long lost running cousin.

I was wondering how I'd recognize you on a chance encounter.
