Yep. I've almost given up on trying to figure out what it can't do from a running standpoint. Although obviously in your case, you'd have to ignore whatever distance/pace numbers you got b/c you'd be standing still when taking those times (although you could switch it to indoor mode causing it to not look for satellites and thus not do pace/distance). Bottom line is yes, you could use it that way. And upload all of those times/splits to your computer.
