New shoes smelling like cat pee? (Read 63 times)

In the past few months, some Dell laptop owners were complaining that their new computers smelled like cat pee.  Turned out that an adhesive they used on the touchpad was exuding that distinctive aroma as the laptop warmed up.

Here's something I just ran across on the webz.  Apparently, some New Balance shoes were assembled with a similar adhesive.  Not good.  According to this post, though, the company is promptly making things right with their customers.  I'm not one of the owners of such shoes; just passing the info on, FYI.
