Won my age group!!! WooHoo! (Read 97 times)

now for the details... which, 1st age group win ever!!!

was a fairly shallow 3k road race field, I got 36/157, but first in my age group! of 5, ha, but I'll take it!

I left early, didn't think they were giving out medals, but the website seems confusing, not sure I want to pursue retrieving the medal if it exists, but on 1 had would be nice to have, but at the same time, I'm cool with the personal success alone.

Ran a 14x  3k... I think the course was a bit short of a true 3k.

Even was interviewed by the announcers! before I knew it a mic was in my face and I was caught off guard, but was fun.

while I'm having a little laugh at my age group win, hopefully not the last and a sign of more good to come, especially next season!

Pursue the medal!  Just ask the race director if there were any awards for AG winners.   Congrats.
