How important is running form? (Read 1063 times)

Yep, it might be Paula's odd head placement that is giving me the overall impression of "bad form." Paula Rox! People tell me to get my elbows in (they are out as if I'm defending my space) and straighten up my back (somewhat hunched)....but heck, it's kind of like gravity puts them there...why fight nature? I pay more attention to cadence and stride than form. A quick "happy feet" turnover is helpful for reducing impact.

A person with bad form adapts and becomes more efficient just like someone with good form, apples and oranges. When you work on your speed you'll be a faster and more efficient runner than the person with bad form.
