bleh, you run, you drink water, might as well reuse, been doing it for years. whatever my life is extended by running may/may not be depleted by the chemicals in the plastic bottle. or I may get run over by a bus tomorrow..............

I have 2 kleen kanteens, and they are pretty awesome. The mouth of the bottle is large enough so you don't have to break a sweat jamming ice cubes down into it, which is a problem I've had with other aluminum bottles. I've never taken one on a run (yeah, they are heavy), but I use them for hiking all the time.
