Can I risk an half marathon? (Read 302 times)

I'm a bike commuter during the week and go for bike rides either mountain or road on weekends. I started running in September. By the end of December I participated on a 10kms race and finished with 46.19m. Wednesday, 11/01, I ran 15kms on 1h. 11m. On the 25th there will be a half marathon which I would like to participate in.

Do you think it is to soon?

I don't want to risk getting injured or collapse during the race. I'm not worried about the time either just in for the experience, I just don't want to be the last one.

Should be no problem. If it's your first time over the distance just don't get carried away with the pace at the start.

Good grief, no 'risk' at all.

        You're active.

You know how to run from point a to point b.

If you feel like you're going to collapse, slow down.

I've done my best to live the right way. I get up every morning and go to work each day. (for now)
