Invitation to participate in running research (Read 77 times)

mc04

I am a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Queensland, Australia. I am coordinating a research project which aims to develop a training load and response monitoring system in runners. A potential outcome will be a valid method for estimating individual running performance.

I am looking for male and female runners aged between 18 and 50 years to take part in the study. Participants must have been consistently training between 3 and 7 days per week for at least a 3 month period. In addition, participants must be routinely recording distance, heart rate and time during their runs.

You can be located anywhere in the world because the study only requires you to email your completed training data for analysis. In return, you will receive performance estimations based on your individual data, along with other metrics.

If you are interested in taking part or have any questions about the research, please contact me on m.connick [at] uq.edu.au for more information.

    Thanks!
