Living on Tulsa Time (Read 489 times)

Heading to Tulsa for a wedding this weekend and need a running route for about an 8 miler on Saturday morning. Will be at the Doubletree at 611 W. 7th (downtown Doubletree). Can I hit the Riverside trail from there or do I need to drive somewhere? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Well, if the trail weren't torn up, you'd have it easy. Unfortuantely, it's torn up from 21st street north to downtown. If you have a car, just go south on Houston or Denver until you hit Riverside. Take Riverside south to 21st, park in one of the lots and you can run south from there as far as you want. I'd offer to join you, but I'm still recovering from my first marathon Sunday. Enjoy Tulsa!
