Ha, I had heard this is common and I'm just glad I didn't catch this crap BEFORE my race. Almost a week ago I started with that raw throat...which gradually worked its way into my sinuses. Had a ton of pain and pressure for probably 3 days. Yesterday had the first "comfortable" run since my race almost 2 weeks ago. This morning woke feeling it some in my lungs. As the day has progressed I feel like someone poured lead into my chest and my throat is tight and sore, again. Ow. Hopefully this is the last stop before this garbage makes it's way out, but so much for my plans to get 2 runs in before Sunday. GR Marathon peeps. I will still be on the course, but I won't likely be cheering. Watch for a big-ass sign and listen for the cowbells! Big grin
